Yes! If you hire the entire venue, we’ll be more than happy to work with you to create a special menu. Our dedicated chef can cook a range of cuisines and is always up for a challenge!
You can book our venue for any time during our regular working hours, which are listed below:
Monday: 15:00 – 22:30
Tuesday to Friday: 15:00 – 00:00
Saturday: 12:00 – 00:00
Sunday: 12:00 – 22:30
Your best option is to reach out to us and to let us know your requirements so that we can figure out how we can best accommodate you. Wherever possible, we’ll find a spot for you and your party. Please note that for bookings in less than a month’s time, we’ll require you to place a full deposit while making a booking.
XP Tavern is conveniently located in the heart of London for easy access from Shoreditch, Whitechapel, the City of London, East London and anywhere else with access to the London Underground.
Our address is 9 Chaucer Gardens, London, E1 EQD. We’re two minutes from Aldgate East station and within fifteen minutes of Whitechapel, Shadwell, Tower Hill, Aldgate and Fenchurch Street.

The deposit is non-refundable if the cancellation is made within 30 days of the event date. However, if your event requires extensive preparation and work has already commenced prior to your cancellation request, the deposit will also be non-refundable. This provision is an exception to our standard cancellation policy, and you’ll be notified in advance if it applies to your booking.
Please get in touch with us at your earliest convenience and let us know about the cancellation or amendment. The more notice you give us, the more likely it is that we’ll be able to accommodate things like date and time changes. We have a maximum capacity of 150 people for private bookings.
For all private hires, we require a deposit of 50% of the total booking fee during the booking, as well as the remaining 50% one month before the event date.
